Spesmusica launches music therapy in Switzerland for Ukraine, offering live group and individual sessions in Küsnacht/ZH for cancer patients, sick children, and those seeking music therapy support.
Special moments were when a blind boy discovered musical instruments – from marimba to drums to kazoo and guiro – and to see him enjoy and smile so freely is why this site and my music therapy were founded. Children with cancer finding the motivation to perform a song on piano or ukulele, to sing their favourite songs and learn new ones – these are moments that carry deep meaning for me. Elderly and seriously ill patients being able to forget pain and sorrow, even if only for a short while – this is the magic of harmony and music. I continue to believe and hope that, in my concerts as well, audiences can experience something similar when they open themselves to truly feel and listen within.
